Fogging happens when warm, moist air hits a cooler lens. On a humid site, in a cold room or behind a mask, it can happen every few minutes, and that's when glasses come off.
Start with the right lens
An anti-fog coating makes the biggest difference. It spreads moisture into a thin, clear film instead of tiny droplets that scatter light. If fogging is a problem on your site, choose anti-fog when you order.
Mind the gap
Frames that sit too close to your face trap warm air. A proper fitting gets the distance right, with enough airflow to keep lenses clear but enough coverage to keep debris out.
Masks and glasses
- Pinch the mask's nose wire so it seals across the bridge of your nose.
- Rest your glasses on top of the mask's upper edge.
- Make sure the mask fits properly for its own purpose first.
Look after the coating
Harsh cleaners and rough cloths wear coatings down. Rinse off grit first, then clean with lens spray and a microfibre cloth. Our care guide has the full routine.
