Single vision
One prescription across the whole lens, for distance or for reading. The most common choice.

Bifocal
Distance vision on top and a reading segment below, with a visible line between them.

Multifocal
A smooth change from distance to intermediate to near, with no visible line. Also called progressive lenses.
What you'll need
Ordering is simple if you have these ready. If you don't, we'll help you get them.
- A current prescription from your optometrist
- Your pupillary distance (PD), which we can measure at a fitting
- Your frame and lens choice
- Your employer's approval, if you're ordering through a workplace program
Common questions
Can I use my existing prescription?
Yes, as long as it's current. Your optometrist sets an expiry date on your script. If it has expired or your vision has changed, you'll need a new eye test first.
Why not just wear goggles over my glasses?
You can, but most people find it uncomfortable for a full shift, and goggles over glasses tend to fog and slip. When protection is uncomfortable it comes off, and that's when injuries happen.
How long does it take?
Prescription lenses are made to order. Most orders are ready to ship within 7 to 10 business days of us receiving a valid prescription, plus delivery time. See shipping & delivery.
Can I claim on my health fund?
If you have optical extras cover, you may be able to claim. It depends on your fund and your level of cover. See health fund rebates.
