The terms that apply when you use this website and buy from us.
About these terms
These terms apply to your use of certifiedeyewear.com and to any order you place with Certified Eyewear (“we”, “us”, “our”), Level 57, 25 Martin Place, Sydney NSW 2000. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
Products and information
We work hard to make sure product descriptions, images and specifications are accurate. Colours may look slightly different on your screen.
Information on this site about eye protection and safety standards is general guidance only. It isn't a substitute for a risk assessment of your workplace or advice from your optometrist.
Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we confirm it and begin processing. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if a product is unavailable, a price is wrong or we can't verify your prescription. If we cancel an order you've paid for, we'll refund you in full.
Prices and payment
Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Delivery costs are shown at checkout. Payment is due when you place your order, unless you're ordering through a workplace program account with agreed invoice terms.
Prescriptions
You're responsible for giving us a current, accurate prescription and measurements. We may contact you or your optometrist to confirm details before we make your lenses. We can't make lenses from an expired prescription.
Workplace programs
Workplace programs are provided under a separate agreement with the employer, covering approved products, allowances, fitting services and billing. Unless that agreement says otherwise, program invoices are payable within 30 days. Workers ordering through a program also agree to these terms.
Delivery and returns

Intellectual property
The content on this site, including text, images, graphics and our brand, belongs to us or our licensors. You may view and print it for personal use, but you may not copy, reproduce or use it commercially without our written permission.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that can't be excluded.
To the extent the law allows, our liability for failing to comply with a consumer guarantee for goods or services that aren't of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic or household use is limited to replacing or repairing the goods, supplying the services again, or paying the cost of doing so.
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or our products.
Privacy
We handle your personal information in line with our privacy policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order applies to that order.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you and we submit to the jurisdiction of its courts.
